Hi,

Pls download the KTPT2000FRDM3CUG.pdf from the link.

https://www.nxp.com.cn/docs/en/user-guide/KTPT2000FRDM3CUG.pdf

The above doc lists the signal connection between FRDM-KL25Z and FRDMPKPT2000EVM.

The FRDMPKPT2000EVM is Auto board, you'd better to post question on the auto community.

Hope it can help you

BR

Yes thank you XiangJun Rong, seems that the DRVEN is not controlled, I assume this is a HW issue with my FRDM-KL25Z. I believe the code is loaded and runs to some extent as I cab read the Bat voltage. Is there no read back to signal fault? Will re post on the auto community.

I guess there are more users in the automotive community, not sure the target FRDMPKPT2000EVM evaluation board is the culprit here, feels like FRDM-KL25Z, can not drive these pins.

Thank you XiangJun Rong,

The problem I beleive is not with FRDMPKPT2000EVM, since these control pins are driven by the FRDM-KL25Z.

I can control RESETB and DRVEN, but not the START pins.

Read battery volts

I have added a 5V regulator to ensure more than 4.75V on VCC5.

FRDMPKPT2000EVM expects 1MHz clock on pin 10 ( doc J8 05 !) buzzes to J2.2, at FRDM-KL25Z this pin J2.4 net name D9  but this is pin 79 on PKL25Z128VLK4, I don't think the 1MHz is critical since "If an unsuitable signal is applied on the CLK pin, the device automatically switches to the internal backup clock."

I hope a replacement FRDM-KL25Z comes soon. Or have I missed something?

Hi Richard,

please check the voltage on the DRVEN pin if it is between the 1.5V to 2.2V.

On the FRDM-KL25Z it is pin1 on the 10x2 header.

If not, please try to load the .srec file attached to the KL25Z and try to run the code again.

With Best Regards,

Jozef
