Hi Team,

We are using Discrete DDR3L on our custom T2081 board. We are getting this error "DDR initialization failed: DINIT was not cleared by hardware" when configuring the DDR through QCVS tool.

What could be the cause of this issue and how to approach this wrt software?

Thanks & Regards,

Error message means that DDR is not functional. Many reasons can cause it, mistakes in the schematics, mistakes in the RCW, board level issues, incorrect DDR sw setup, problems with power supplies, including MVREF.

First I would recommend to check if the proper clock signal with expected frequency appears at the SDRAM clock pins after DDR initilalization. Use a scope for that.

Hi Bulat,

Thanks for quick response.

We tested the clock signals and found that CS0 is not getting Low while validation test in QCVS tool, though we have enabled it in tool.

FYI, we are using Micron TwinDie DDR3L MT41K512M16 device.

Please suggest me what could be issue for this.

Thanks and regards,
