MPC5645S and DDR2 MT47H128M16 - 25E

Is the DDR2 RAM Memory supported by the MPC5645S MCU?

On a project, I used 2 DDR2 RAM "MT47H128M16 - 25E" to obtain a 32-wide data bus. I write a configuration but the DDR2 RAM doesn't work very well.  I think that I don't initialize it correctly the DDR2 by EMR Register. Have you some examples or have you already a good configuration ?

Hi, we have certain examples with DDR configuration. Also I could send excel sheet dealing with the DRAM timing that could be useful for you - I cannot give you any comment to this as it is primarily for different product line (unfortunately we don’t have dedicated version for MPC5645S), but DRAM controller seems to be the same or very similar and 4 registers the excel sheet can help you to configure seems to be the same.

Unfortunately, we don't have any example for DDR2.
