Illegal Instruction error

Hello Sir,

                I am jyothi. I am using MPC8323E-RDB board. And i am using LTIB for cross compilation. I am using kernel 2.6.20.6 rtlinux version. I am trying to implement telnet client for my applicaion for that i am using inetutils package from ltib. I have taken telnet client source code and tried to run as an application. My program is terminating after giving an error like "Illegal Instruction". I am not able to understanding that why this error has occurs. Can you please help me out in this?

It looks like that debugging is needed for your application. NXP offers CodeWarrior IDE for Linux. CodeWarrior supports Linux Application debugging. Find the "Debugging an Embedded Linux Application" in the attached file.
