FS6500 datasheet iternal block diagram

for NXP SBC the FS6500 datasheet <FS6500-FS4500, ASIL D, Grade 1, safety power system basis chip with CAN FD and LIN transceiver, datasheet > i have one confused point in the part 2 internal block diagram, in show the Vpre are connect to Vsup3 directly in Fail-safe Machine blocks, but as the datasheet describle, Vpre = 6.5V, Vsup3 = Vbat(currently used in vehicle is 12V), cloud you clarify this ?
