What is the purpose of VCP internal supply in MC33772C cell controller? Also what will happen if VCP capacitor is removed from the design?

Hi Carlos,

The purpose of the VCP pin is to connect an external capacitor to allow the normal operation of the charge pump regulator. If no capacitor, the MC33772 will not work. This capacitor should be connected as close as possible to the pin, with the value specified in the datasheet, and nothing else connected to this pin.
