Hello,
we have a MC33PF8101A0ES soldered on our board, and as a fist step I try to communicate by using KITPF8200FRDMPGM programming board over I2C. I can communicate with a chip in the socket, but not with the device on my board. I measured V1P5A and V1P5D and they look ok, about 1.6V. I checked I2C signals on the board.
Is there possibly something wrong with our schematics? I also attach the screenshots of I2C communication.
At which stage is the PMIC able to communicate over I2C?
Thank you in advance
Betty
Ok, thank you. I found the error, it was really a beginner's mistake. The labels for SDA / SCL are wrong. I2C communication works now.
Hi :
If you want to do OTP you can unsolder PMIC from your board, then do OTP in the KITPF8200FRDMPGM board.
If any questions during OTP process please let me know!
