Hi all,

How does the PCA9450 behave after the output is shorted?
I'm assuming that after a short occurs, all outputs are stopped once, but after that, does the PCA9450 try to restart the outputs like in HICCUP mode? Or does it keep stopping output?

Best regards,

tomo

Hi Miyazaki-san,

If the PMIC is in RUN/STBY mode, this behavior of all outputs are stopped once happens at the VRFLTx is unmasked, and after tFLT_POK_MSK, the regulators are trying to restart like HICCUP. But if masked, only the fault regulator stopped. Once short event removed, the output is normal, but there will be an interrupt and a fault status register assert.
