Hello,

I am planning to use the MWCT1013 module in my project. I would like to know if anyone already has used this chip? I was also wondering if there are any drivers available for this MWCT1013. I plan to connect the MWCT1013 to a host microcontroller and interface them using I2C.

Hi,

MWCT1x1x family which are 15 W wireless charging ICs provide complete controller functionality to implement a wireless charging transmitter solution.

All solutions are fully compliant with the latest Wireless Power Consortium (WPC)-Qi specification.

You can find all the details about this family in the following link:

http://www.nxp.com/products/power-management/wireless-charging-ics/15-watt-wireless-charging-transmi...

Available documentation:

MWCT101XA Datasheet: http://www.nxp.com/assets/documents/data/en/data-sheets/MWCT101xADS.pdf

MWCT1013A Reference Manual: http://www.nxp.com/assets/documents/data/en/reference-manuals/MWCT10x3ARM.pdf

There is an available Reference Platform Board for a 15 Watt Wireless Charger Transmitter based in the MWCT1013A transmit controller IC. This is the Reference Platform Board: https://www.nxp.com/design/designs/automotive-multi-coil-wireless-charging-transmitter:RDWCT-15WTXAU...

You can find a document describes the API of the WCT1011A/WCT1013AWireless Charging Transmitter (WCT) library. The library enables users to evaluate the wireless charging Qi solution easily in customer applications. You can find this in this link: https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/WCT101XAV41LIBUG.pdf

And you can request the HW and SW design file in the at the bottom of the following link: https://www.nxp.com/design/designs/automotive-multi-coil-wireless-charging-transmitter:RDWCT-15WTXAU...

Regards,

Jose
