FS6500 SBC disable Watchdog and RSTB during flashing process

I have the following hardware configuration FS6500 and MPC5777C. My application configures the SBC to have INIT_FSSM and INIT_FAULT reaction to trigger FS0B and RSTB as well as the FCCU lines ERROR_0 and ERROR_1 (IO_23) on the SBC side.

My question is: What can I do to disable the SBC watchdog if I want to go to a Programming state (this will jump usually to a bootloader)  to execute ERASE and FLASH process?

Also, is it possible to disable the WD operation at anytime?

Thanks!

Federico

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately DEBG mode requires a HW line to be pulled and a POR. In our application we are in RUN mode and at some point of time either for flashing purposes or after run (prepare the ECU to sleep) we want to disable the Q&A or the RESET of the FS6500.

Thanks!

Understand your question, but I am afraid that is difficult to control disable watchdog during the system active.
