Dear NXP,

We would please request you share a reference schematic/application note on using isolated SPI communication --- MCU to MC33771xC and MC3377xC daisy chained (multiple devices).

We are not able to find the above example in any of your application notes or data sheets.

Regards,

Dear Harish,

We do not have such a reference design/application note.

Our BCCs come with SPI or TPL communication interface. The SPI type is for direct communication of the BCC with an MCU. If you need to control more than 14 Cells with one MCU, we have BCCs with TPL communication interface, where up to 63 nodes (BCCs) can be controlled by one MCU. We also have a TPL to SPI transceiver MC33664 or newer MC33665A TPL to SPI, TPL to UART or TPL to CAN transceiver.

Please check this link for a description of NXPs TPL communication.

Best regards,

Tomas
