Hi,

I want to try to construct a Wireless LAN using P2020RDB-PCAs with QorIQ SDK 1.9.

However, it seems difficult to find available wireless modules and drivers that support the platform.

Could you please recommend modules and drivers?

Moreover, is it possible to use IEEE 1588 hardware time stamping for wireless communications?

Or do I have to use software time stamping?

Thanks in advance for your help.

There are no specific recommendations - in general any PCIe or miniPCIe WiFi module  can be used.

P2020 IEEE1588 hardware time stamping can be used for the SOC eTSECs.

Thank you for the reply.

Sorry for late reply due to the vacation.

1) What I have concerned is the support of device driver.
I ordered Broadcom BCM943602CS Desktop Dual Band 802.11 AC PCI-E Wi-Fi Bluetooth 4.0 WLAN CARD and will try it in the weekend.

2) I guess because wlan cards do not use eTSECs, it seems that the IEEE 1588 H/W timestamping is unavailable when I want to achieve a clock synchronization using wireless communications.

Thank you.
