Thermal diode interface to monitor temperature in P1022 processor?

We are using P1022 in one of our design. According to its datasheet, Pin-B26 and A27 is to not connected whereas it is used in its reference design as thermal diode's anode and cathode. Can it be used as thermal diode interface to monitor temperature using MAX6695 type of devices?

I mean to ask whether thermal diode anode and cathode(Pin-B26 and A27) of P1022 can be connect to MAX6695's remote diode pins to measure the temperature as done in P1022DS schematic using ADT7461 IC.

The main problem for similar connection is parameters of this thermal diode.

The P1022 Datasheet does not have information about thermal diode parameters. You should calibrate this thermal diode for thermal measurement.

The P1022 Datasheet shows that these pins are no connects.

These pins cannot be used for the MAX6695 connection.

Use I2C interface of the P1022 for the MAX6695 connection.
