In the "P2020DS bring up guide" in the secion 2.2.3 Rapid IO scenario what does it mean when it says to "Connect the two boards with PCIe crossover interconnect cable (and cards) in PCI EXPRESS SLOW #2"

Is this cable or these cards provided from freescale?

What " two boards" is this statment refering too? 2 P2020DS boards? or the 2 boards that should be in PCE #1 and #2 slots? (There are no boards in the PCI slots)....

Is there any newer documentation for the P2020DS? Does FreeScale still support the P2020DS? how come the SDK no longer supports P2020DS?

Hello Brian,

The PCIe crossover interconnect cable and cards are not provided by Freescale, you need to buy them by yourself, you could find the manufacture(seller) from google.

"two boards" means two P2020DS boards, the Rapid IO card uses PCIe slot, you need to configure the switch setting to set the PCIe slot in Rapid IO mode.

P2020DS is removed since SDK 1.2 release, so the documents in SDK 1.1 should be the latest.

Have a great day,
Yiping
