Dear Team,

We are using a T1024rdb processor for our project. We have built a yocto source long back, now we are trying to work on the same build but during compilation, we are getting error rated to fetch GitHub repo for all packages.

We have found from NXP forums, that the repository has been moved to another repository so kindly help us with any reference manuals for installing yocto for the t1024rdb machine.

The following error has been observed during the build.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ERROR: Task 61 (/opt/CCC/QorIQ-SDK-V2.0-20160527-yocto/sources/meta-freescale/recipes-bsp/u-boot/u-boot-qoriq_2016.01.bb, do_unpack) failed with exit code '1'
ERROR: Fetcher failure: Fetch command failed with exit code 128, output:
fatal: unsafe repository ('/opt/CCC/QorIQ-SDK-V2.0-20160527-yocto/downloads/git2/git.freescale.com.ppc.sdk.rcw.git' is owned by someone else)
To add an exception for this directory, call:

git config --global --add safe.directory /opt/CCC/QorIQ-SDK-V2.0-20160527-yocto/downloads/git2/git.freescale.com.ppc.sdk.rcw.git

ERROR: Function failed: Fetcher failure for URL: 'git://git.freescale.com/ppc/sdk/rcw.git;branch=sdk-v2.0.x'. Unable to fetch URL from any source.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since we are in the middle of the project, Requesting your support at the earliest.

Thanks in advance,

Kasturi.

Hi yipingwang,

It is already downloaded and installed in the same path.

We have found from NXP forums, that the repository has been moved to another repository. Please find the link below.

We have designed our own custom board, we will have to make some changes on source.

kindly help us with some solution.

Thanks,

Kasturi.

Please download both source ISO QorIQ Linux SDK v2.0 SOURCE.iso

and Cache ISO QorIQ Linux SDK v2.0 PPCE5500 Yocto Cache.iso form https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/linux-software-and-development-tools/linux-sdk... and install them in the same path.

It seems that the source tar balls are missing in your workspace.

Hello  yipingwang,

Is there any dependency on ubuntu versions for these source ISO?

We observe that it works on the Ubuntu 14.0 machine but not on the Ubuntu 20.0 machine.

I would like to understand the dependence if any.

Regards and thanks,

Kasturi.
