Toolchain for MPC8248

I am looking for a toolchain for the MPC8248 processor.

I've looked at

• the NXP web site
• McuExpresso IDE
• crosstool-ng
• searched the web for an appropriate crosstool-ng sample
• building from the zeus release
  https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/imx-manifest/tree/README?h=imx-linux-zeus
  This seems to be for the i.MX series, not the MPC.
• I've also looked at the NXP SDK site but I can't find a reference to the MPC8248.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

You could use Toolchain provided in CodeWarrior 8.8.

You could download CodeWarrior 8.8 from "https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Vf2CuS8rqE8bCm5nv_jzOcgb6PphgEJD/view?usp=sharing", after installing CW 8.8, you could get Toolchain in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Freescale\CodeWarrior PA V8.8\Cross_Tools\binary\Metrowerks\ppc\tools\gcc-3.4.3-glibc-2.3.3-spe.

I’m using Linux and already have the IDE installed. Thanks for the confirmation.
