TJA1145 bus failure detect function inquiries

As I see that the transceiver(TJA1043) can detects a bus line short-circuit condition to
VBAT, VCC or GND. However I couldn't find any description about this funciton. I wonder that if TJA1145 has same function.Or is it just a software implement of MCU?

TJA1145 doesn't have short-circuit detect function ,but for detail information about Failure Mode and Effect Analysis of short circuit ,you can read AH1309 from page65.
