Spoofing protection (receive path) Not Working

Hello,

We are working with the TJA1153a CAN transceiver hardware , and we are facing issues related to the Spoofing protection in receive path.

1. When we are enabled the automatic retransmission in can controller(micro controller), spoofing protection Working Properly.
2. When we are disabled the automatic retransmission in can controller(micro controller), spoofing protection Not Working.

Can you clarify the above mentioned behaivour ?

Hello Suresh,

the spoofing protection is always active when there is activity on the transmit and receive path, and TJA1153A is supplied via VBAT, VCC and VIO. Could you please check if these three pins are supplied under both conditions?

Is your controller changing anything in the TJA1153A when enabling and disabling the automatic retransmission? Especially the TJA1153A spoofing passlist and blocklist.
