Secure data written to tag with NXP tagwriter application

I have a tag that I'm evaluating for a development project.  It incorporates a SL2S2602 ICODE SLIX2 IC.  I'm using the NXP TagWriter Android App from Play Store to do my evaluation.  I can write a Bluetooth MAC Address to the Bluetooth NDEF record, but there doesn't seem to be a way to lock, write protect or password secure that data.  Is that just a limitation of the App?

Hello,

While checking the data sheet of the device you are using , the SL2S2602 supports lock pages and password protection.

You can check Table 73. Lock bits, there are more details about it, still, it would seem that the limitation is from the applications side.

Sorry for the inconvenience this might cause you.

Regards,

Estephania
