Hi,

I'm interested by the NX3L4051PW-Q100J analog switch.

In the datasheet, I see values for "input capacitance" and "on-state capacitance". Can someone tell me the difference ?

I want to connect a coil to the input of the analog switch and I need to know what value of capacitance will be seen by this coil

Thank you!

Sylvain

Hi Sylvain,

Input capacitance (Ci) is the internal capacitance seen at Sn (Select) and E (Enable) inputs.

ON-state capacitance (Cs(on)) is the internal capacitance seen at the analog switch terminal when the switch is closed or ON. So this is the capacitance you need to consider.

Tomas
