Question about TJA1021: SLP_N PIN pull-up

Hi all,

I met something not sure, here is the problems:

1. do I need to pull up SLP_N pin? I see the official development board pulls up it.

2. If I pull up SLP_N pin with the voltage powered on earlier than VBAT=12V, will it do harm to the chip?

Here is the circuit, VDD3V3 will power on ealier than VDD12V
