Hi NXP,
I am a developer who are studying the security on ARM architecture. Recently my team members have researched on Cortex-A, and now we decide to re-produce our result on Cortex-R52. We searched the development board, and only to find the GreenBox can provide such environment(i.e., the multiple Cortex-R52-based cores). The website is Here:https://www.nxp.com/design/development-boards/automotive-development-platforms/nxp-greenbox-vehicle-...
But I find there are 3 productions with different price. The S32EDEVPL2(development platform), S32SXXXMB(development motherboard), S32S247DC(development daughterboard). I cannot decide which to buy.
For our research, we just need a board with basic requirements, which means:
1. multiple Cortex-R52 cores
2. can communicate between computer and the board(maybe it should have the UART or others, because we will load some programme into it, and fetch the result with the port. We also consider to debug with JTAG.)
Could you please tell me which one to buy? Maybe one of them, or maybe all?
Sincerely,
irakatz
Hi,
I had query regarding same, is it not possible in Greenbox to evaluate all peripherals? Are they accessible outside and programmable? We need specifically PWM.
Thanks
Hello,
If you are looking for evaluation simple solution you can go with daughter-card and Motherboard (CAN, LIN, UART, FLexray, ENET).
This will cover communication protocols as well as begging interfaces. (like JTAG/nexus)
so:
https://www.nxp.com/part/S32SXXXMB
and
https://www.nxp.com/part/S32S247DC
will give you complete evaluation platform for microcontroller.
In case if you want application development platform with all the features ready to use, have a look at Greenbox:
https://www.nxp.com/part/S32EDEVPL2
see the video on page where at the end are all features listed by Sam.
best regards,
Peter
