Hi,

i want to know the application note for DFP mode, i have some issue with this mode.

1. i connect pin 4 (vbus_det) to vbus of the connector and PTN5150A don't recognized any connection ( i plug camera in my cards)

2. now pin 4 (vbus_det) are floating and PTN5150A do recognize the camera.

i add the schematic here.

the connector get vbus (5v) after PTN5150A recognize detection of USB all work when pin 4 are floating.(i remove R111). but in this case i have another issue and that's the camera is recognize on USB3.0 only in one direction of connection and in other direction it's recognize on USB2.1.

thank you,

1. In DFP mode , when PTN5150A recognize USBi use ADR/CON_DET to give vbus to the connector USB and to VBUS_DET pin

2. The PORT pin is connected to VDD in the schematic it's 5V

3. i fix the mistake , now the pin it's floating then it will be a output

steel , if i set the VBUS_DET pin floating the PTN5150A recognize the connection of camera , but if i set VBUS_DET to VDD it doesn't recognized so it's right or no? (the camera don't give VBUS i need to produce him VBUS)

thank you.

1:How is the connection way between VBUS_DET pin and USB_CON_VBUS?

I didn’t see they are connect with together.

2: In the standalone mode with DFP configuration the PORT pin should be connected to VDD.

3:You can’t pull up ID/ADR to VBUS, please see below limiting values
