How do we determine termination resistor values for PCA9614?

Hi,

I have a similar application with Vdd=3.3V on both sides, and Z0=100R.

Going through the app note, two questions arised:

1) The app note mentions the FAILSAFE bias = 200mV. What is that value with the PCA9614?

2) The app note do not consider 3 resistors on both sides of the cable, while the PCA9614 asks for that. What is the impact?

The termination resistor determined by the VCCA/VCCB setting,what're value of them in your side?

Both are 3.3V.
