Hello,

We're in shortage of PCA9535HFHP for a production planning. Need your help to advise if we can use PCA9555AHF,128 as alternative. Looks like these two parts are pin-to-pin compatible and no change on software control, am I right? It's used for I2C-to-GPIO expanding and we don't care much upon power consumption, I/O toggling speed, etc. There're external pull-up resistors on our board for all the expanded I/Os.

Thanks,

Jerry

Hello Jerry,

The PCA9535 is identical to the PCA9555A. The only difference is the internal pull-up resistors in case of the PCA9555A.
