Hii,

Recently We've ordered a IMXRT1170-EVKB from NXP. At first, I am trying to detect it in NXP MCU Boot Utility. But Vendor ID and Product ID are not getting detected. SW1 is in 1-OFF, 2-OFF, 3-OFF, 4-ON (Serial Downloader Programming Mode), and also connecting USB in J86.

And also attaching (a screenshot of the problem) the file.

How I need to make the board detect in NXP MCU Boot Utility?

Thanks in Advance...

Hi @Shivani_Elavena ,

Thank you so much for your interest in our products and for using our community.

First , I see you set SW1 : 0001 , it is right mode(Serial Downloader mode).

Second, The Serial boot provides a means to download a boot image to the chip and execute the
image over the following serial peripherals:
• LPUART
• USB-HID

If you want use USB serial peripheral, Please connect J20.

If you want use UART serial peripheral, Please connect J86.

Wish it helps you.
If you still have question about it, please kindly let me know.

Wish you a nice day!

Best Regards
MayLiu
