NX5P3290UKZ EN , FO & CAP pin

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like know whether both EN & FO pin can be left floating for logic 'Low‘ condition ?

or both pins need pull down resistor to make it 'Low' ?

Can help to explain in detail why the CAP pin capacitor value have to be 1nF ?

Dear Tan,

both EN and FO pins have internal 1MOhm pull down resistors, so if you will leave them floating, both will be pulled down.

The Cb=1nF capacitor on the CAP pin is a recommended value. The capacitor is used to fast recovery of the MOSFET.

1M ohm is quite big for pull down, can I use external 0 ohm to pull down to always turn off the

feature of FO pin ?

Hi Tan,

yes, you can connect the FO pin directly to the GND if you don't want to use the Fast Turn On feature.
