NX3L1G384.  The data sheet for this switch suggests a clamp diode on the signal leads.  First, is the clamp diode on both sides so that the input and output are both clamped regardless of switch condition?  If clamp is one side only, then which side?  Spec indicates a -50mA current clamp, and implies a -0.5V clamp voltage.  This voltage and current are for signals that extend below ground, yes?  If my signal is AC coupled into the switch, with a ground resistor at the signal lead, and is 2V pk-pk will this signal produce clipping due to the signal swing going to -1.0V and turning on the protection diodes?  Thanks, Charles (Skip) Robidart
