We found the mux relay CBTW28DD14 have (10 ohm typical) RON from the datasheet. Can this resistance value be measured directly with an electricity meter? Sometimes we find that the resistance value varies between 10~30ohm during measurement. is this right? or the mux relay has been damaged

Dear Davis,

please see below an answer from an application engineer regarding the Ron value.

DESCRIPTION

Ron may vary with its bias voltage, but 30ohm sounds too big, 20ohm maybe.

Ron can change because of your input signal level. A DMM usually test Resistance using current, doesn’t have  the correct voltage.  It is not a very good way to measure the Ron.

Why is customer doing this measurement?  Do they run into issue?

With Best Regards,

Jozef
