Minimum rise and fall time (Fast mode) of I2C bus signals

Hi,

For the minimum rise and fall time (20+0.1Cb) requirements, does it applies to signal going into the I2C device? Am I right to say it is not critical if the signal is going out of the I2C device?

Hi Dan,

yes, this is correct. The minimum values are critical for the SDA and SCL inputs.
