MPC8360 boot after HRESET

We have a problem with HRESET.

The system load the config words RCWHR (xB4600002) and RCWLR (x04030005) onto the local bus after POReset,  This works fine and we have no problems with it.

However if we assert HRESET (from the watchdog) it goes through the same sequence but does not boot.

SRESET is also fine.

any ideas.

I don´t know your exact reset sequence so i can guess only.

POReset: processor and everthing else powers up --> enough start up time for flash
HReset: 16 clock cycles are to short to reset your flash and to be ready to serve RCW
SReset: no problem cause no flash reset is caused?!

We also have a problem with booting from local bus. The Core is freezed after loading the config words.

Are you sure that your flash is properly out of reset and all timings are fulfilled? Some flash need up to 35µs to come out of reset...

Would the Flash Timing be any different to the reponse after POReset? 

We have no problem with POReset or SReset,  just HReset.
