Hello,

We are trying to use MMZ09332BT1 which is a 130-1000 MHz HBT RF amplifier. There are some questions about how to use the MMZ09332BT1 correctly.

  1. What is the meaning of active bias control? Does it mean that a Power Down Voltage is supplied at Pin 10 to control the bias on or off?
  2. According to the typical PA performance table at the datasheet Gain=26.3@ 3.6V, which voltage is 3.6V? Vcc,Vbias or both them?
  3. Pin 7,8,9 are all RFout, should we connect them together ? The application circuit at the datasheet only connect pin 7 and 8, will it have effect on the output power?

Thank you.

YES

All three voltages Vcc1, Vcc2 and Vbias are 3.6V

All parameters in the Datasheet are measured on the evaluation board that has pin 7 and pin 8 connected to Output and Pin 9 connected to Vcc2. You can connect all three pins together but the parameters may may vary slightly.

Have a great day,
Andrei
