We are using MC9S12DP256BCPV (was Motorola, then On Semi, then Freescale, then NXP).

1. Is this CPU with MASKSET of 1K69X version has a different Part Number as a comparison with CPU's MASKSET of 1K79X version?

2. CPU's data sheet with CPU's MASKSET - 1K79X was published in July 2001.

So, how it is happened that we got CPU's MASKSET - 1K69X version with Data Code of 0348, i.e. week no. 48 of 2003 ?

In this case the the question is where you bought the device. This is really old device.

If you bought it from an official distributor then you should contact him with warranty return task because this is not existing and valid mask.

If you bought it somewhere else then it can be fake and NXP does not guarantee any quality for it.
