Hello team,

I am currently developing an automotive BMS project using the MC33772B. I am working with four batteries, with channels 3 and 4 being short-circuited to channel 2. Therefore, I am effectively only using channels 1, 2, 5, and 6.

I would like to inquire about battery balancing：

Does the MC33772B support enabling balancing on channels 1, 2, 5, and 6 simultaneously? If it does, will it have any impact on my BMS system? Or does it depend on the hardware circuit?

Hello Shigi,

Yes, the MC33772B does support cell balancing on channels 1, 2, 5, and 6 at the same time. Each CB has a current capability of 300mA.
