MC13156 FM-IF Demodulator

Hi Everyone,

I had a question about a Motorola Demod chip - the MC13156, which Freescale archived back in 2005. Does anyone know if Freescale still manufacture any kind of similar or replacement FM-IF demod chip these days?

Hello Dave,

Unfortunately, there is no such chips in current Freescale portfolio. Please note that MC13156 was a "pure analog" family device, discontinued by former Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector (Last Order Date=15-Jan-2002).

The only one similar (but not equivalent) product could be MC33596 PLL Tuned UHF Receiver (for more details please see MC33596 Product Summary Page ), however also this device reached Not Recommended for New Designs status.
