Hi,

We would like to drive 27 V motor which has continuous current 6 A and instantaneous current 30 A for 2 seconds.

1) Can this part handle it? If not should I use 6 mohm version?

2) Is it possible to parallel multipke MC10XS4200 devices to obtain more current?

3) If not 2 seconds possible then how many ms can this device withstand to 30 A ins. current?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Mert,

The MC10XS4200 cannot drive 30A for 2 seconds, you can find the timing as below.

The max. timing is 350ms when motor current goes up. Even in parallel, current can be doubled, but time is fixed.

You can use the MC06XS4200 due to DC current up to 15A, use two outputs in parallel, then current is also doubled to 30A.
