Is the out-of-band IP3 useful to check a band-pass filter linearity?

In order to check the linearity of my (tunable) RF band-pass, I measured the in-band OIP3. Now, I wonder if the out-of-band OIP3 is useful to check/confirm the linearity.

If anyone have an answer, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
