How to play a simple audio file using NXP K66f?

Hi guys, I am a beginner doing a small project using the K66f board.

I am trying to implement this: once the PIR motion sensor detects something, it plays an audio.

And I have no clue how the audio works on this board. I looked at the examples provided by MCUXpresso and the code is just overwhelming.

Is there a simply way to achieve this? All I want is playing an audio file.

And do I have to use the SD card to get the audio file? Or it will be included in the solution?
