Error 6982 (Security status not satisfied) when trying to change status of 424 DNA tag on tagxplorer

Hi all,

I've been using tagxplorer to encode 424 DNA tags and it's been going well, except for now when I'm trying to change the status of the tags from read/write to read only. Every time I try to do this, I get "Error 6982: Security status not satisfied" I've tried to troubleshoot this by going NTAG operations>security management>authenticate first to re-authenticate myself, however this doesn't work.

Does anyone have a solution to this issue? TIA

Hi this isn't answering the questions, why are we getting an error when changing state to read only?
