Specifically for the HT EV800 which operates Hitag1 tags. This was made by NXP and has been long considered obsolete. Our team would like to reincorporate this device into our workspace.

Can anyone help point us in the right direction? I will try calling support tomorrow, to see if they have more resources available.

Sincerely,

martinjavens

Let me make it easy for you by attaching, and linking the datasheet for HT EV800 from digikey on this product.

And here is a link to the user manual with good pictures

Or, maybe HT EV801 software works too here, page 12 .

Copy/pasting a key excerpt:

INSTALLATION
1. Create a new directory on your PC for the demo-files
(e.g. C:\RFIDDEMO).
2. Copy all the files from the CD-ROM into the new
directory.
STARTING THE DEMO-PROGRAM
We strongly recommend to carefully read the user manual
“RFIDDEMO HITAG evaluation software” before starting
the demo-system. Inconsiderate use of individual menu
options may result in unwanted irreversible changes in
access rights.
Start your demo-program by typing the command
RFIDDEMO.EXE.

I noticed that NXP tech support is on this forum, good for us. It seems we cannot run the hardware without getting this program. Is there a database with old software and source code we can be provided? If so, dreams do come true!
