Crystal design TJA1100

Hi,

my question is about the crystal in the apphints AH1310_TJA1100.

Is ther any need of a resistance in front of the Capacitance  for XI or is there no need . There isn't any resistance shown whether in the apphints, the datasheet nor the eval board sheet (TR1329.pdf).

Am I correct with the guess there is no resistance needed or did you have any further information about improvements referred to the crystal design and the TJA1100?

Hi,

no resistors are needed in osc circuit. Use just the decoupling capacitors.
