Dear NXP-Community,

I am using HTRC110 NFC HITAG to read hitags256 and hitags2048 and am having a problem.

Everything works fine when reading hitags256 cards, but there are often problems when reading hitags2048, such as  not reading the card, the response time is too long.

Now I need some help.

Thanks a lot.

Hello @vo1d

Thanks for contacting us and using the NXP products.

HITAG S family has two option which are HITAG S256 and HITAG S2048, their memory size is different but the protocol is the same. In principle, S256 communication is normal and S2048 should also be working. And HTRC110 reads and writes both behaviors are also the same. Only the difference of the two is UID and the space of accessing memory. So, your problem is probably in the antenna part, it is recommended that you check whether the antenna design is reasonable.

If any questions, please feel free to contact us.
