Hello, hope this is the correct forum to ask this...
I'm planning to offer a payments product based on mifare 1k classic cards and I would like to know if there is a way to clone all the info (including the serial number) of the card from one to another.
Even without knowing the sector's KEY A/KEY B can the data be copied using special tools?
Can the card's serial number (4 byte) can be cloned/copied? Because check the card's serial against a database would be useless if this can be acomplished.
Regards

Hello @calmaguer, Good Day!
Thank you very much for your interest in our products.
I would like to ask, are you referring to the card's UID? If this is the case, please consider that this is a Unique Identifier which has been programmed and write protected in the production test, so it cannot be changed.
You may refer to section 10 of the MIFARE Classic EV1 1K - Data Sheet and the following application note AN10927 for further details on the handling of UID's.
Please note that this product is not recommended for new designs. Instead, consider having a look at our recommended secure MIFARE DESFire Light and MIFARE DESFire EV3 .
My best regards,
Daniel.

Yes @Daniel_Gutierrez! I was talking about the card's 4-Byte UID like 07:6E:3D:3C (command FF CA OO OO 00).
If it cannot be copied to another card, I can build something so I can validate the card was issued from the right application before trying to access the data for the purposes of the client.
I have to work with this card type 'cause I think the client already has ordered a big lot of them. Nevertheless I'm forwarding your response so they can took in account there's other options to work with.
Thank you very much for your response.
Best regards!
