Hi,

I am using S32R45 connected to radar. In the CSI2 configuration of S32R45 I came across the term chirp shape. I don't understand the that meaning for that term. Is it possible to share any document or the meaning of that term ?

Regards,

Srinivasan.

Hi,

Chirp shape means the chirp modulation parameters, i.e. the timing parameters and frequencies associated with the RF modulation scheme. Here is a diagram:

This (along with other factors) determine the radar measurement characteristics. You can find explanation in general radar theory references under pulse FMCW (or pulse Doppler FMCW).

In S32R45 context please check the RadarSDK documentation for more information on chirp shape.

Regards,

Gary
