Hello Cope,

I have contacted an IVN team with your question. For the answer please see the description.

DESCRIPTION

TJA1040 is only guaranteed to work until Tj=-400C. Whether that allows -430C ambient to be used, really depends on the self-heating of TJA1043, in turn fully determined by the loading/duty cycle of the application. So customer has to detemine P for their application, nothing we can do.

Anyway, if it really depends on that, it means customer is really working at the edge, and will likely have problems guaranteeing with TJA1043 Tj=-400C.

With Best Regards,

Jozef
