BB201 datasheet eeror

The datasheet for the BB201 variable capacitance diode gives a maximum Vr in the Limiting Values table as 15 volts.  In Fig.2 (Diode capacitance as a function of reverse voltage) shows typical capacitance values up to approximately 25 volts.  The values  given in Fig.2 for 1 to 20 volts are ideal for my application.  Please could anybody tell me what is the correct maximum reverse voltage?  Is it 15 or 25 volts?

Regards Bob

The datasheet specifies maximum operating reverse voltage of BB201 to be 15V.

NXP defines VR maximum continuous reverse voltage at the specified reverse leakage current (10nA @25V, 200nA@85'C).

As reverse bias voltages increases, the leakage current increases (exponent) and then it explodes at the avalanche/zener breakdown voltage of the diode. The device will not degrade if the current is limited at some acceptable level (uAs).

NXP does not specify breakdown voltage for BB201 and you may use device at at Vr>15V for your own risk only.
