In the PCD4440T data sheet the current consumption of the IC is mentioned as 10mA,but it takes 1mA only.
How to ensure that the IC is working fine or not?
I attached the PCD4440T test setup image.
In the datasheet "The time base for the PCD4440T is a 3.58 MHz input signal which can be derived from the oscillator output (OSCO) of Philips micro controller families PCD33xxA or PCF84CxxxA" is mentioned.Is it necessary to connect with Phillips micro controllers or we can interface with any other micro controller. If possible send the initialization routine or process.
