About SLOPE CONTROL of TJA1044V

TJA1044V has built-in SLOPE CONTROL. Does this function suppress ringing of CANH / CANL signals?
Please tell me how this function suppresses ringing. I want to suppress ringing during 5Mbit / s communication in CAN FD.

Please introduce CAN transceiver with ringing suppression function as an NXP product.

Hi Shin-san,

No, TJA1044V was not intended to reduce ringing on CANH/L.

The slope control in TJA1044V just controls slope of CAN output signal to be inside of specified timings.
