15 Cell lithium-ion BMS Cell balancing with MC3377x parts

Hello Community,

I have an application to design a Lithium Ion Battery BMS with cell balancing and monitoring. I am impressed with the MC3377XX part family. But my application needs 15 cell in series application and unfortunately MC33771C part is only capable of doing up to 14 cells. And I would really hate to use another MC33771C/B part just for One extra Series module.

Can you suggest a best method to design a cost effective way to implement cell balancing for 15S configuration battery pack?

 I am afraid that you have to use two ICs for your application.
