For a project taking up 1000+ channels of driving 8 bit PWM led we decided to go with NXP’s PCA9956B. 24 Channels per chip, I2C Fm+ speed. Now our big question is, which SoC will deliver enough power to address this scenario?
Digging in all datasheets of possible candidates seems they are all heavily overqualified. We don’t need encryption nor HDMI nor 1Gb/s Ethernet.
Everything under $5 per 1k is reasonable. Lead time is not of concern in development.
Thanks!
The SOC means the IIC controller which control or communicate using the IIC interface, right?
